An Anthem Shout Hidden In A Dream

Have you ever had a dream that you just knew had come from the Lord? A dream that left your spirit full, feeling filled with love and adoration for Him?

A couple of years ago I had one of these dreams and it went like this…

I was seated in an enormous outdoor stadium, like at the superbowl or something I guess. There were thousands of people, every seat was filled and my seat was a few rows from the back along the side.  There was a great sense of anticipation in the atmosphere. Funnily, there was nothing on the field, just a completely packed out stadium.

All of a sudden, I stood up with raised arms in the air and looked heavenward with a huge smile on my face. In a high reaching anthem-like melody, I sang with a loud bold voice these following lines;

He is risen, He’s alive again, He’s living, He’s living in us!

Instantly, the crowd of thousands, every single person, rose to their feet as in a mexican wave, and every voice joined in the loud, bold, strong and mighty declaration! As one voice we sang like an expectant mighty choir of angels, a thousand upon thousands –

He is risen, He’s alive again, He’s living, He’s living in us!

And I woke up.

I’ve been profoundly affected by that dream. Many times I have found myself shouting out that song and my heart is again filled with a sense of great anticipation and heavenly joy. Other worldly.

I’ve tried to capture it even in just a small way here in this little recording for you, in the hope and prayer that you will capture the same sense of anticipation and joy and that it will become also an anthem of proclomation in your heart and your mouth.

To the glory of God and our Lord Jesus Christ – the Risen One, the Living One, the Life Giving Spirit – living in us!

Love and blessings, to you all.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off every encumbrance and the sin that so easily entangles and let us run with endurance the race set out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God…Hebrews 12:1-2

And from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood And made us a kingdom, priests to His God and Father, to Him be the glory and the might forever and ever. Amen…Rev 1:5-6

When I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. But He placed His right hand on me and said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, the Living One. I was dead, and behold, now I am alive forever and ever! …Rev 1:18

What is The Revelation of Jesus Christ?

By Watchman Née; (emphasis mine)

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright, the morning star. Revelation 22:16

The book of the Revelation is the unveiling , the apokalupsis, of Jesus Christ. It draws aside the curtain  to reveal Him.

It’s object is not primarily to enlighten us regarding coming events – the antichrist, the supposed revival of the Roman empire, the rapture of the saints, the millennial kingdom or the final downfall of Satan. John’s remedy for our ills is not a matter of so many seals and trumpets and vials. It is not in fact designed to satisfy our intellectual curiosity at all BUT to meet our spiritual need by revealing Christ Jesus Himself in fullnessthat we may know Him.

For Christ is the answer to all our questions.

Get clear first about Him, and we shall know all we need to know about “things to come”.

He is the risen and victorious King of kings. All the events that follow, are the outcome of His being that.

In Search Of Authentic Authority

Leadership. For many of us the word leaves a bad taste. For some it evokes a sense of deep disappointment, emotional pain or abandonment. And for far too many it awakens traumatic memories of spiritual abuse. Jesus didn’t have a lot to say about leadership, except to warn the disciples that His idea of leadership […]
